Adobe Abode B&B Inn [See Website]=202 Chapelle Street
Santa Fe, NM 87501 1278089779 You're coming to Santa Fe, for the first time (finally) or the 100th. You're picturing everything you've read about or seen firsthand from previous trips -- the majestic Sangre de Cristo mountains turning bright red at sunset (it's true), the smell of piñon fires, the golden glow of Pueblo architecture at twilight, the lodging you'll be staying in... hoping it will capture the Santa Fe spirit in all its diversity or offer you an insight into the real essence of this fascinating, historic community. Well you've come to the right website. The Adobe Abode is just such a place, and the jewel of the AdobeStar Properties family. Pass through the purple gate into an atmosphere that won't intrude upon your sense of privacy, but will offer you the chance to meet fellow travelers and share all the little "secrets" you've discovered on your own. Three blocks from the Plaza, one block from the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, and even closer to the new Santa Fe Convention Center, our historic inn was built in 1907 as officers' quarters for Fort Marcy. Like several other houses in the McKenzie historic district, the Adobe Abode became a residence in 1910 and only four families lived in it until it became a B&B in 1988. The main house was extensively renovated, followed by new construction over a four year period, keeping the history intact but providing every modern convenience. (505) 983-3133

Casa Pacifica=1705 Paseo de Peralta
Santa Fe, NM 87501 1278012764 Casa Pacifica is seriously easy to find. From Albuquerque you will get off the interstate at the middle of Santa Fe's 3 exits - St. Francis Dr. You will be headed North toward Espanola, Los Alamos and Taos and will continue North for a little while - I'd say 6 or seven stop-light intersections. You will come to an intersection that is bigger and a bit more complex than what you have been seeing - the intersection of St. Francis Drive and Cerrillos Rd. (pronounced sir-ree'-os). The New Mexico School for the Deaf will be on the far lefthand corner (Northwest corner). Continue on through that intersection, still going North on St. Francis Dr. (Highway 285/84), but be aware that the next stoplight is Paseo de Peralta where you will make a Right hand turn. I am only a block and a half up (East) on Paseo on the Left (North) side of the street. There is a little street that goes off ONLY to your left called Lolita. After you have seen Lolita, Bed And Breakfast Of Santa Fe is the second place on your left and has a distinctive rock wall in front. (505) 982-2078

Located just 12 minutes from the West side of El Paso, it's a little touch of Santa Fe, where four guest rooms await you. This hacienda-style Bed and Breakfast is decorated in southwestern themes based upon the mythology of the Mimbres Indians, who were indigenous to the southwestern portion of New Mexico. --- Casa de Sueños sits on a high mesa overlooking the Rio Grande River Valley. Three sets of mountain ranges - in New Mexico, Texas and Mexico are visible from the expansive guest patio. The nighttime views of twinkling city lights and the view of the Milky Way Galaxy are memorable. --- Casa de Suenos Dining Room Casa de Suenos Courtyard Guests can relax on the glider or swing on the patio, with a latte in hand, and watch the sunrises or the moon rising over the Franklin Mountains. The stillness and quiet of the rural surroundings provide a wonderful rest after the end of a long cross-country trek or a hectic work day. --- You can watch the quail and jackrabbits feeding and hopefully catch a glimpse of a roadrunner passing through. --- There is a Meditation Circle, based upon the indigenous people's Medicine Wheel design, located off the back patio. It overlooks the open space of the arroyo and provides a space for reflection, and quiet time. Established by Arnold and Kit Sargeant, Casita Chamisa was the first Bed and Breakfast in the Albuquerque area in 1984 and is currently one of Pamela Lanier’ s top choices. --- Casita Chamisa , Bed and Breakfast extraordinaire, rests on a major archaeological site that was excavated by owner Arnold Sargeant’s late wife, archaeologist Kit Sargeant. Casitas de Gila Guesthouses [See Website]=50 Casita Flats Road
Gila, New Mexico 88038 1276887443 Casitas de Gila – Little Houses of Gila – is a cluster of five cozy southwestern adobe-style guesthouses, four miles outside of the tiny community of Gila (HEE-la) in Southwestern New Mexico. Nestled among juniper and piñon pines, on an ancient river terrace overlooking Bear Creek, our Casitas occupy lands that were once favorite hunting grounds of Apaches only 130 years ago. --- At Casitas de Gila a diversity of birds, animals, plants, and landscape will greet you every time you step outdoors. Early risers enjoying a morning cup of coffee on their portal may watch and hear quail, scrub jays, or hummingbirds in the pines around the Casitas or catch a glimpse of the mule deer and bighorn sheep that are frequent visitors to the cliffs above Bear Creek, across from the Casitas. --- bed and breakfast silver city new mexicoAs you watch the sun rise over a nearby mountain ridge, you will be entranced by the sounds of silence at Casitas de Gila … a gentle morning breeze rustling the piñon pine and the murmur of the creek flowing softly among the rocks a hundred feet below. What an incredible feeling when you realize that it's so quiet here, you can hear each individual flap of a raven's wings as it arcs gracefully overhead. As you look out to the north over the cottonwoods and sycamores in the canyon below, the rising sun illuminates the yellow-, red- and white-banded front range of the volcanic Piños Altos mountains in the Gila Wilderness, beckoning you for a day's hike or an auto tour of the Gila National Forest. A bit further to the northwest, Mogollon Baldy, one of the highest peaks in the towering Mogollon Range, gleams an 11,000 foot invitation from its home in the magnificent Gila Wilderness. Guadalupe Inn [See Website]=604 Agua Fria
Santa Fe, NM 87501 1278018130 Visit this Santa Fe Bed and Breakfast and you will find yourself on the property of one of the oldest local families of Santa Fe. You will find that our food is prepared using the same recipes and techniques that we learned from our parents, grandparents and other family members and friends who were native New Mexicans. --- You will see that wood, tin and copper hold a special place in our hearts. As far as we are concerned, Mom's father, Grandpa Sanchez was one of the greatest carpenters who ever walked on this earth. Thus, all of our beds are handmade works of one of the owners or one of our friends. Tin and/or copper hand tooled sconces, light fixtures or furniture are also in evidence. These being the contributions of one of the other owners, his son and one of our cousins. --- Our Grandpa Quintana was a jeweler in his younger years and later the owner of a grocery store that was housed right on this property. --- Our Father, Pete (Pedro) learned jewelry-making and later concentrated most of his artistic talents working on stamped tin. --- Join us on one of your visits and we will happily share pictures and excerpts from books where "our Dad" was featured as one of Santa Fe's native artists. --- We are located in the oldest district of Santa Fe, the historic Guadalupe District. Just a stone's throw from the historic Santuario de Guadalupe, one of the oldest churches in Santa Fe. --- Agua Fria, the street on which we are located, was once the famous Camino Real, an ancient route connecting northern New Mexico to Mexico. La Hacienda Grande. From its very origin, over 250 years ago, the Gallegos and Montoya families worked the land and shared its bounty with friends and neighbors. Now Bed and Breakfast Innkeepers Melody & Troy Scott continue that tradition. Silver River Adobe Inn B&B [See Website]=3151 W Main
Farmington, NM 87499 1277927835 The Silver River Adobe Inn is a contemporary example of the traditional architecture of Northern New Mexico, offering elements of luxury with the organic texture of exposed adobes and rough sawn timbers. The Bed and Breakfast graciously rests on a sandstone cliff, embraced by two rivers, the San Juan and the La Plata. In a landscape of natural vegetation grandmother cottonwood trees host many of the birds found in this nature reserve. The Las Animas, San Juan and La Plata Rivers converge in Farmington, comprising 50% of New Mexico's flowing surface waters. From the windows and patios one also experiences the long view of the sunset down the valley. An eclectic library creates a natural backdrop for the "Salon" style breakfast conversations.
