Sample Inn B&B is the 3rd incarnation of Frederick Worthington's historic home (1917), restored and refurbished by the Constantinovs a decade ago. Following the tenure of the Unitarians, who added two buildings to the complex, it now serves as a sophisticated lodging, retreat, cultural and conference venue, just minutes from Central Campus classrooms. For guests' amusement it features a Holtkamp pipe organ in the Hall, outer gardens with quince, grapes and English roses, and period furnishings - while maintaining a cyber savvy environment for scholars and business people. Lodging has been expanded to feature private baths in ten rooms, breakfast and wi-fi, with six fireplace rooms. Thirty-two (32) guest capacity.

Since Sample Inn B&B inception, the proprietor has envisioned a Cultural Center component, to be a noteworthy complement to Ann Arbor’s other, fine entertainment, academic and artistic venues. The forthcoming 2009 season should be a gratifying and important one in the realization of that concept, and artists both far and near are invited to participate.

Writers, choreographers and visual artists are invited to submit applications for residence at Vitosha, with opportunities to teach workshops, exhibit and sell, and stage televised panel discussions.
